I lost my eye in 1993.  It literally died, lost fluid and became opaque. I was told that most of my problems was due to juvenile arthritis.  Dr. Howard Conn in Orange County, Ca., did my surgery.  Steven Haddad fitted my eye which is 100% lovely.

I have had a lot of  trouble with discharge.  Last year Dr. Conn put in a titanium post because they thought I was allergic to the plastic post.  Not necessarily so.  I also was fitted with my second eye last year.

My eye dries out in high altitude and late in the evening, but I have much too discharge still during the day.

Other than having to mop up with a tissue quite often, it really is not bad at all.
