I am a mother of a two and a half year old boy, whose right eye was
removed due to retinoblastoma six months ago. He is wearing now a
glass-eye.
Of course going through this process was extremely trying, and we are
still only can hope, that his other eye remains unaffected.
We live in Hungary,
where our options are limited, but we are determined to get him the best possible treatment.
I was very happy to find this web-page (actually Robin Brammar, ocularist recommended it to me from the UK), and I hope that I can get and offer
support to people whose fate is similar to ours.
