Hello my name is Brenda,

I was born in upper Michigan with glaucoma.  My mom took me to the health department because my eye was always tearing. 

The health department referred her to Dr. Sabon in Marquette Michigan.  Dr. Sabon operated on my eye and I think I would of have been blind in both eyes if it was not for him.  I'm very thankful that I had good care.

I've been told that the doctor performed many surgeries on me when I was very young, but I really don't remember them.

I return to the doctor every year for a check ups and as I became older the pressure started increasing in my eye. The eye was very painful and was finally removed at the Kellogg eye center, that was the hardest day of my life.

I'm so glad that I found this web site since I have always felt alone in this.

I have dry eye problems and I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on what to use so the eye does not dry out so much?
